Thanks to your help in making last year's Phonathon a success, the 2009 Phonathon is going to be even bigger! This year, we will be making calls
over six nights rather than three. We are looking for some dedicated volunteers, both Charlotte local and elsewhere.

Push America is once again a partnering charity of the Marine Corps Marathon to raise funds for the brave men and women now
living with a disability as a result of their dedicated service to our country.

GEAR UP FLORIDA 2009
On May 30, a team of 31 men cycled to the steps of the Florida State Capitol Building to the cheers of their friends and families.
The 2009 Gear Up Florida team arrived in Tallahassee after two weeks and over 800 miles traveled on behalf of people with disabilities.
Even more incredible than cycling through exhaustive heat and uncharacteristic rains was the team's commitment to fundraising.

WHY I RIDE ALONG
This August, Pi Alphas from the past 23 years of Push America cycling events will join together in Richmond, Va. to saddle up once again
and ride into our nation's Capitol with the 2009 Journey of Hope teams.
It is truly a memorable weekend that can only be explained by some of the many men that have previously participated.
