Pi Alpha Event In 2009: Washington, D.C. Arrival Ride Along

We are asking all Pi Alphas from past Gear Up Florida, Build America and Journey of Hope teams to join us for a Pi Alpha reunion in Washington, D.C. to commence the 2009 Journey of Hope and Build America events!

Whether it was a few months or many years since the last time that you put on a Push America jersey or crew polo and hit the road on behalf of people with disabilities, we would like to see you in D.C. this year. We are planning for over 50 Pi Alphas to participate in the 2009 Pi Alpha Ride Along into our nation's capitol!

The 2009 Ride Along will consist of three days of riding and Friendship Visits all culminated by a Pi Alpha reunion banquet in Washington, D.C. The event will begin in Richmond, Va. on August 12, 2009. On Thursday morning, we will saddle up and ride to Fredericksburg. On Friday the ride will continue to Fairfax, Va. where the Ride Along team will meet up with the 2009 Journey of Hope and Build America teams for a Push America celebration dinner. The event will then conclude as they relive the past and cycle the home stretch to the west lawn of the US Capitol building.

We are asking each cyclist and crew member to continue their commitment to Push America and serving people with disabilities by fundraising a minimum of $500 for this event.
