The arrival weekend into Denver, CO is scheduled for July 27, 2008. The Push America Arrival Weekend is the culmination of a summer of building hope. Whether you are a team member, parent, friend or just a by-stander, you can’t help but get caught up in the emotion that surrounds this special day. This is a weekend of celebrating abilities, accomplishments, and simply reflecting on a summer of service.

Schedule of Events
We hope you will join us in our celebration. Below is the information regarding the events for the day. The cost is $25 per person which covers the reception fee for Sunday evening.

Hotel
The host hotel for the Build America Arrival is the Grand Hyatt located in downtown Denver, Colorado. Push America has arranged for a room block to provide family and friends of the Build America Team members a discounted rate of $139 per night.

The Build America Arrival Celebration
The 2008 Build America Team will be welcomed to Denver by over 500 Pi Kappa Phi undergraduates and alumni at the Push America Awards Luncheon. This event will begin at 11:30 a.m. The team will be recognized and then will be free to take pictures, grab lunch and enjoy an afternoon in downtown Denver.

The Build America Awards Reception
The Grand Hyatt will be the host of our 6th annual Build America Awards Reception which will also be held on Sunday, July 27. The cocktail and dessert reception will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and conclude by 9:00 p.m. We are expecting nearly 75 family, friends, girlfriends and Pi Kappa Phi brothers to attend. Dress for this event is business casual.
