Give-A-Push Weekend
Give-A-Push Weekend is a Push America construction program created to provide manpower to build and renovate structures such as accessible fishing piers, boardwalks, pavilions and playgrounds for camps providing support to people with disabilities. Pi Kappa Phis from across the country come together for a weekend of construction and teamwork to provide a well-built accessible environment for people with disabilities to enjoy during their camping experience.

Since 1989, 95 Give-A-Push Weekends have been completed and almost 2.5 million hours have been donated to camps to make them more accessible. These hours translate into savings of over $900,000 from labor and grants given. Push America provides a $5,000 Give-A-Push Weekend grant to each camp to help cover cost of materials, meals and lodging.

If you are a camp and have a dream for high-ropes courses, fishing piers, miles of nature trails, or if you have anything else in mind please contact Push America’s Director of Special Events at 704-504-2400 ext. 123.
