Orientation offers a chance for team
members to interact and get to know one another, learn about people with
disabilities and participate in construction safety training to prepare them
for the life-changing events ahead. This is going to be a very high energy,
fast paced time for team members to dive head first into an experience that
will change the way they view themselves and those around them.
Included in the training will be
American Red Cross CPR and first-aid certification, team building, crew systems
training, construction safety sessions and equipment preparation for the road.
The team will also visit with some people with disabilities during orientation
and share in some fun activities together. There is no greater way to learn
about people with disabilities than sitting down, talking and enjoying each
others company.
