The arrival weekend is the culmination of a life-changing summer. Upon building hope for many individuals across the country, one cannot help but get caught up in the emotion surrounding such a special day. This is a weekend of celebrating abilities and accomplishments while reflecting on a summer of service.

Contact the hotel at (888) 421-1442 or click here for reservations. Ask for the Push America room block to receive the discounted rate of $119 for single/double and $144 for triple/quad occupancy per night. Please make your reservations at the Hyatt by July 17, 2013.
Push America will provide rooms at the Hyatt for team members on August 10, 2013.
Family and Friends Reception
Where: Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill
When: Friday, August 9, 2013
Time: 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
What: This reception is for family and friends of Journey of Hope and Build America. It is a time to reflect on the summer and go over important details for Saturday’s events. Many sponsors, volunteers and staff members who worked with your son throughout the event will also be in attendance for you to meet. Parents of past team members will be providing guidance on "life after a Push America team event." Transitioning back to school, work and other activities brings opportunities as well as challenges for your son and family, and these parents can help you with this transition. This is not a dinner, but there will be heavy hors d'oeuvres provided and a cash bar.
To make your reception reservations, you will need to do the following:
- Reserve your hotel room (not your son's) with the Hyatt
- Register with Push America HERE.
Journey of Hope and Build America Arrival
Where: West front lawn of the United States Capitol building
When: Saturday, August 10, 2013
Time: The teams will arrive promptly at 11:00 a.m.
IMPORTANT: Friends and family must arrive at the Capitol building by 10:30 a.m. It will most likely be very warm, so wear shorts and bring water and sunscreen! Please stay off any structures and respect the Capitol grounds as this allows us to hold our celebration here each year.
Push America Celebration
Where: Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill
When: Saturday, August 10, 2013
Time: Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with a short program beginning at 5:30 p.m.
This event will highlight the teams who just finished their event while also celebrating Push America's history. Displays will be set up around the room to showcase some of the special people, places and events in the Push America family. The event will also be a meeting place for the Push America family to reflect on their experiences. Push America has grown throughout the years and shaped many lives of people of all abilities, and we hope you will join us for the celebration! There will be very light snacks and a cash bar. Dinner will be on your own.
