Regional Construction
Push
America, in conjunction with many facilities across the country, host a number
of regional events geared towards promoting adaptive recreation. It is amazing
to see the true display of human ability when an individual with a disability
gets to hike for the first time or conquers her fear of heights at the top of a
fully accessible climbing wall.
Through
Push America’s regional events, the world is made more accessible for people
with disabilities. Push America has donated thousands of dollars and man-hours
to construct wheelchair ramps, accessible nature trails and pavilions in an
effort to promote recreation for people with disabilities. It is through
recreation that disabilities are forgotten and human ability is realized.
