Push America is proud to announce that it has been voted as one of one hundred small to medium nonprofit organizations across the country to receive a $25,000 grant from JPMorgan Chase & Co. Through a voting process on the popular social networking site, Facebook, JPMorgan Chase & Co. will be donating $5 million through the Chase Community Giving Campaign.

More than one million fans signed up to vote for Chase Community Giving in round one of the program. Eligible charities included 501(c)(3) organizations with an operating budget of $10 million or less, serving the general public in designated areas. Round one ended at midnight on December 12 and culminated with a surge of voting from many Push America supporters.

This grassroots campaign launched November 16 to inspire a new way of corporate philanthropy. Round one narrowed the eligible organizations from over 500,000 to just one hundred. Those winning charities, including Push America will receive a $25,000 grant! Thanks to the generosity and the persistence of Push America’s supporters, round two looks to be even more exciting. The top five organizations will now receive a $100,000 grant while the overall leader will receive a $1 million grant to improve the communities that they benefit.

Push America’s vision is to change the way society views people with disabilities and fraternities. With this grant, Push America could potentially:

• Provide 1,000 accessible ramps to individuals in need
• Present 1,333 cycling event grants for Journey of Hope and Gear Up Florida
• Provide 200 Push Camps or Give-A-Push Weekends experiences for over 7,000 undergraduate students
• Have the ability to return 100% of all chapter raised funds back to their local volunteer relationships
• Fund 8 completely accessible playgrounds across the country

The possibilities are endless! With the help of the nearly 70,000 individuals in the Push America Family winning the grand prize is in sight!
